About Yukayeke Yamaye Kokuio

The Yukayeke Yamaye Kokuio is the tribal organization dedicated to the governance, revitalization, and advocacy of the Taino Kokuio Clan, whose traditional land is located in Hanover, Jamaica. Our mission is to preserve, revitalize, celebrate, and promote Taíno cultural heritage while fostering sustainable development, social empowerment, and human rights advocacy across Jamaica, the Caribbean, and the Diaspora.

Our Programs

The Yukayeke Yamaye Kokuio leads a growing portfolio of
programs designed to protect our people, revitalize Taíno culture,
strengthen community resilience, and build pathways toward
long-term sovereignty.
Our initiatives integrate traditional
knowledge, sustainable development, and community-driven
leadership to address immediate needs while building future
